moving blankets from harbor freight, I use them as drop cloths when painting or texturing and they pad things when you stack parts together.great for a table top covering when putting things together.40 x 60 is like 4 bucks and that makes them almost disposable.

What about an air compressor? Lowes usually has bostitch set with 3 nailers & hose for around $200

Rubber gloves, touch up brushes, different grains of sand paper course to very fine.

Steel wool various grades, rubber gloves, gallon of stripper, safety glasses and respirator.
