He came over this afternoon and tried his hand at fleshing and boarding. Couple days he'll experience the flip.

Whole time he's fleshing he's asking about where to get boards and other stuff. I'm thinking Santa might surprise him this year.

There is nothing better than to see the excitement in there face when a young trapper catches something or a first time trapper it brings you back to your first catches.
Great job you have done.

My son's first. Conditions have been rough for him. We didn't get an early start, so he had to learn all about freeze/ thaw, hunting season and the humbling effects of reading sign in the snow. Tons of obvious misses because of frozen sets. He was starting to get discouraged, but I kept getting him up and out. I'm glad he learned in the snow. Now he sees coyotes are not fox.
I've had a blast with him. I'm proud he kept at it. Kept studying.

Got to learn about those too strong #2 dukes I bought him. We did two coil most if them, but they still need lams. I pulled the rest. Another good lesson

That's awesome Hobbie! Good job and a really great way of payment. Don't let Danny Clifton see that jar of "drugs" as he likes to call corn liquor lol.
