I use my foodsaver to seal up tge front feet off my ‘rats. My little dog loves them, especially in the summer time.

I wrap meat in Saran Wrap and then freezer paper trying to keep all the air out. Game meat, except birds and fish, keep at least 2 years without freezer burn. Fish and birds get vacuum sealed.

I have a Foodsaver 4400. I bought it online several years ago for around $150. We buy hamburger and other meat in large amounts, then break down into smaller packages for the 2 of us. It has paid for itself just by lack of freezer burn. Found a pound of hamburger in freezer that was 2 years old, looked like the day in was packaged. I buy quart bags in large quantities online, they work for most everything we need. Only buy the Foodsaver bags, the cheap ones don't seal good. Seems like we use this on a weekly basis. This is a good unit.

I have 4 Food Savers. I have that many because we will make a lot of venison sausages at once and it takes all the Food Savers to package them. If I only used 2 Food Savers it would take all day to package because they always get hot and don't work for a while. So, when one or two get hot and won't work, I have back ups.

Must be nice to eat ice cream as fast as you want and not have to worry about brain freeze.

For $15 this thing is amazing.

I laughed when my buddy showed me this, but after he butchered 2 moose and a couple deer with his, I bought one of my own to replace my worn out counter top unit.
This thing is freaking awesome and the bags are washable and reusable.

It's nice that you can cut off a hunk or bologna or cheese and seal the bag right back up.
