Thinking of making some snares for under ice beaver to use while I'm at the cabin deer hunting for the next week.
Will the 90° homemade washer locks work. I don't have time to get any locks ordered, and I didnt plan for there being as much ice as there is.

My guess is it will be fine, but looking for a second opinion before picking up the supplies on my way up.

Doesn't take long for a beaver to expire under the ice. Washers made correctly should work as good as any store-bought lock.

Yes washer locks will work fine for under ice snaring.

The only constant in trapping is change so keep learning.

Any lock will work,You don't even need a lock to snare beaver under ice.

I don't do a ton of Beaver Snaring but I used CR's on a dead pole set and they performed just fine
