I have a trap with Zagger's tag on it. I bought some chains from Mark & they all had his tag on them. That was before I knew he was famous & I threw the tags away.

They were probably worth more as scrap metal anyhow. Besides, I heard the guy drinks fox pee when he is out on the line. laugh laugh

Someone stole nearly 200 of mine out of a shed on my property in the summer of 2001. They're out there somewhere.

I got some traps that came from a period where tags weren't heard of. From two old time famous mountain men. Two double long springs.... like #3 or #4 size. Found them while elk hunting in them thar rockies. I think either Jim Bridger or Jeremiah Johnson must of had a grizzly get in their beaver sets and ran off with them!! Then I found them. At least that's the story I tell when I talk to others about how I found them!!! wink smile

I heard of someone finding lewis and clarke cached traps. Thatd be really neat.

One of the Alaska guys said he finds Frank Glaser traps once in awhile. Thatd be cool too.

I have a couple snares and a fiberglass drowner rod that Tom Parr gave me. I also have one of Computer Hater’s single spring BMI 160s, and some of ack’s whatever-he-calls-em traps that I traded him some Satsuma oranges for wink

Also have 2 coyote traps from ole Boy Named Sue that he sent me.

All my favorites. They are my collectors, not user traps

I just picked up a #220 with Oscar Cronks tag on it. Bought it directly from him at his shop.

A few years ago I bought a couple of #2 newhouse that a mink trapper had "tricked out",the jaws were filed to resembled teeth.Hair trigger is an undrestatement.A couple traps from Wiley Carroll with his number stamped on the bottom, and some old beaver traps from an uncle. He used to trap in Wisconsin forty years ago.A 3N from Andy Wieser with name tag and a few odds and ends from our trips to the U.P.
