I was told that if you find tobacco fields you'll find the hogs. Is that true?

Do you? If you released one breeding pair into the wild and and all piglets survived and the all bred as soon as they are able(3-4months) with 0 mortality, in 7 years would have 2 million pigs.
I’ll take 2 breeding pairs please.

Here in Iowa ,they say shoot them on site if you see any.then call DNR to get blood samples they want.I hope we do not get them here for all that I read and hear.I was told they are in the south part of the state at the boarder of MO.. I had someone told me that he was told they will be up to the Canada line by 2026. I hope not.But the ammo is ready for them if they show.

So is that essentially a map where not to go deer hunting then? Take a .45 or .454 or 10mm with you if your bowhunting...

Been running with a crew of guys since summer , we've been hitting them pretty hard down here. All live catch or knife dispatch . Kind of addicting.

Feel free to PM me and we’ll see if we can’t get you in on some. Winter is when it really ramps up . It is chaotic, but it’s somewhat of a controlled chaos. As far as the sticking goes , well, there’s a technique to it . And it’s scary fast how quick they deanimate once stuck correctly .

Do you use straight bay dogs too? Keith

Keith , we use black mouth curs as bay dogs and “bull” dogs as catchers . Very effective team.
