I have an excel exomax and the width can be an issue at times especially long hikes thru brush. Lots of good ones out there. Enjoy the one you purchase.

I've killed about 15 deer with a cheap SA Sports Ambush $190.00,its good for about 35 yds. What it lacks in range I make up for with knowledge and stealth. All pass thrus but one.The cheap Allen broadheads work equally as well 9.99 for a 3 pack.Carbon bolts are a must.I may upgrade one day if I feel like needlessly spending money.

I have a Excaliber and a Ravin. I prefer the Ravin. Wife uses the Excliber.

I have enjoyed bow hunting for many years, then hurt my shoulder. Some of my friends talked me into looking at crossbows. After doing some research and talking to several folks that hunted w/ crossbows I went w/ the Excalibur. No cams or cables, just a simple recurve design. It is still pretty stiff to pull back, but I don't shoot it as much practicing like I did my compound bow. Bottom line is, the Excalibur shoots great and it's accurate. I shot 2 big does last year, shot both in the front shoulder w/ .125 shwacker. Both deer didn't go 25 yards. My crossbow should be accurate out to 45 to 50 yards, but all my stands are in the woods in tight spots and 30 to 35 yards is my longest shot. I am looking forward to some cool weather so I can get back in the stand and shwack another one! Any crossbow can have a bad day and " malfunction " , I just felt like this one is basic design and less to go wrong. Good luck!

I use the Sniper 370 also, got it last year and killed a doe with it the first week of archery. Like someone said the scope is junk so I put a Hawke red dot sight on it. I shoot Beaman carbon bolts out of it with G5 Montec 100 gr broadheads

grayfox54 did your scope go south or what? So far mine had been ok not the brightest for light gathering but it has held zero so far. I also have a centerpoint on my 17hmr it lives on the back of my 4 wheeler still doing fine. Glass doesn't compare to my lepould vx3's but so far mechanically they been spot on. I do wish for low light it was illuminated.
