After repairs on the truck I know we won’t! Creeks are out of their banks so it was a pretty rough day. Low expectations for tomorrow.

Well the creeks came up 8 inches overnight but we managed to scratch out 43 rats and 5 beaver. I just got in and will finish skinning at 4 am. Logan was POOPED but 7 so we must have had fun!

Caught 2 beaver and 8 rats. Unfortunatly a mink made short work on 3 of them so use them for coyote bait. Tough finding sign with last nights rain but watch I did find was very fresh. Got out half dozen coyote sets but the fields are still very wet making it tough to bed my traps. May hold off a few more days before set more.

Had my 2nd triple on coyote today,sat late afternoon I set up a gravel pit with 4 sets,this morning 3 out of 4 connected.

You better slow down on catches, He'll be to focused on becoming a full time long liner and less focused on school work,LOL

Got my first yote this morning. Got 5 sets out and was setting kind of blind. Got him on a baited dirt hole set on a crossover.

Picked up 10 beaver yesterday and this morning. Don't plan on trapping many more...maybe chase some otter later.

I wanted to, but I was mixed up in one of the staff assaults and my hip is all buggered up. Only an idiot would even consider getting into the water like this.

I have a roll of it in the bathroom that I can send you. I assume you want new and not used.


Well we added 4 more beaver and another 24 rats today. One rat was caught by the tail in one #2 coil and around the ears in another. He didn’t move far! I will try to get caught up on pictures later this week.

First is a coyote in a mafia set and the second is a coon wrecking my perfect otter trail!

I am not doing this much this year. I am helping out a few people with beaver problems. Caught 4 out of six traps set Sat. and 6 more Monday after setting 4 more traps Sunday evening. I am pulling them in about an hour and could have another one or two but think I have fulfilled my obligations.

Looks like work, lol.
