Used this site all the time when I first started, now I'm back after college and running more of a true line again. Kind of a silly question. I have a bunch of K9 and coon bait like widow maker etc from a couple seasons ago, been sitting in an unheated garage, think it'll be ok?

I plan to use it regardless cause the consistency and scent literally seem the same as I remember it being but was just curious if other guys have noticed different. Maybe should have left it inside I don't know what freezing and thawing do over time. Keep in mind it's Nodak so we are talking near 100 in summer and near -30 in winter at times. I guess growing up I was always careful to keep my baits and lures safe in a heated shop, but also have left some castor favorites in my pickup for years and always seemed ok. I guess with my extremely limited time to run my "before work line" I don't wanna waste my time.

Thanks, guys!

Freezing and thawing should have no effect on the lure/bait. The main thing that will cause damage to a lure/bait is long exposure to direct sunlight if in clear bottles/jars. If yours weren't stored where the sun can get to them, they should be just fine.

Oh, that is great to hear Mr. Dobbins. They were stored correctly, certainly out of sunlight. We are talking like 15 baits/lures, that is why I was curious, with several of your lures in there. Backbreaker was the lure that helped me become a real trapper back when I was 15.
