Fisher Man trapper Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 2,932 Adirondacks, NY	I'm sorry that DEC can't give you a later season. Catching an October fisher equates with a July beaver. This "trophy " mentality says a lot about the biologist that implemented it. Too bad you could not have a season in December, like Pennsylvania, to get a quality animal. Northern zone opens too early also, but DEC knows best.
