my buddies in the blind now.at about 8 am they fire up the dredges at the gravel pits downstream and hopefully the sky will be as full for him today as it was for me yesterday.will update,gonna shoot a few doves after with him.

Just the locals here the Northern flights have not shown up yet things get better the worse the weather gets!

Nothing here but locals as well. There is a decent amount of resident canada geese now though so the hunting for those has been getting better and better each year, though im not so sure that's what the game and fish want since they have been increasing the daily limit on them over the years in the early season.

Local birds were down this year a little,a few north birds are just starting to show,no beepers or snow/blues,they are getting less and less every year here,the flight is 120 miles west of here now.

Should be decent lots of birds rolling in. Haven’t been out in a couple weeks. Dang elk hunting lol jk. Not much harvest done here. Hoping to get on a good snow shoot this weeekend

Geese flying all over the place here.I don't hunt geese,but don't mind a feed of spring goose.

Locals left on molt migration 3 weeks ago. But are starting to return. But I have no hot fields. And my lake hasn't had many in it

Had one good hunt on September 1st shot a 2man limit which was 5 a piece . We found a field that they had been feeding in the past week but that was the only group we found. Got a call about another group of 50 the other day but can't hunt them too many houses too close.

Yep, Crab Orchard used to be covered up, tons at Rend Lake. Used to sit and watch continous flocks flying all day long. Now just a few local birds. All the hunt clubs at Crab are shut down.

All I can say is it was one very drastic very quick flyway shift.

Molt migrators leave at the end of May and the beginning of June for the most part. YoY and non breeders, or adult birds who have had their goslings corralled by a dominant pair.

Molts and calendar migrants are rolling south in full force at the moment tho.
