Local guy charges $10, but I've cut my own for 25 years now. Was 12 and mom took me to the salon with her and the lady cut my ear lob so I never let anyone else touch mine since

Lady charges me $10 with the Senior discount. I don't tip her, but the last haircut before Christmas I will give her $50. She likes it that way.

The price was 37 dollars in I bought an electric dog shears off Amazon and with the #9 comb, it takes me about 10 minutes to shear the locks off. It looks good, leaves about an inch of hair. The #1 does the beard and I am good to cow.
Is a waste of money from men if they think anyone is going to look at them, as they are still men afterwards. Women are a different story in styling as they are always interesting like a new trapping permission.

Tom, you know there were a Country Wide of hippies back in them 'Ole Days, you couldn't beat the length of them boys hair today or in 1991, LOL, down past there throne area, some folks said they needed a pair of Sheep Shears and a barn stall! smile And Yes they also wore hats! Top Hats! with flowers on them! They Called them "The Flower Children", if you recall! Also had plenty of Box Vans painted with flowers on them driving around! Around the Viet Nam War Era!
You remember Tom?? LOL, Sure you do!
I seem to recall the Barbers were lacking customers there for a long while also!
These young fellows today don't know what they missed out on! grin

I bought a pair of clippers when I was in my late 20s and never paid for another haircut again. I have to wonder how much money I've saved over the years. Shave it. You won't regret it.

I cut my own for most of my life but it looked like crap. I started treating myself to a barber the last 17 years or so. A cut costs $12.00 now but I only get it cut about once a month if that.

I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

$9 for the barber closest to my house

$8 bucks for the barber closest to my work, thats never open and takes a week to actually get in the chair

$12 bucks for the pretty girl at the salon who like to talk hunting and football and gives me the right cut every single time (I pay an even $15)

Similar thing here 3rd grade I was taken to supercuts lady made a bald spot on my hair. I've let 3 women touch my hair since. 1 was interested in and the other 2 worked at a barber (1 was a real looker).
