Tried to get help for my brother, but like you say, it has to come from them. He died at 64, basically drank himself to death, even his kids gave up on him, died alone and no one to find him for a week.

Some of my friends ...back in the day, couldn’t stop. It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.
