Anyone know the size of the little rubber o ring that is in the quick connect on a little Merc 9.9 kicker motor and where I can pick one up? I don't know if an auto parts store or hardware store would have one but at least if I knew the size, it would be a starting point. My 9.9 is sucking air at that hookup and the o ring is gone. It's the little o ring that seats the ball and seals the connection.

Any cheapo depot, hardware store, auto place or industrial supply house will sell O-rings. Just don't ask for them at Mickey D's or White Castle etc, while tasty, they won't work.

Try napa or a mercury dealer. If it were me I'd just replace the hose with a new one since it's sucking air.

I do away with that whole clip thing and just run the hose from the carb to the tank. If you have to have a disconnect do it at the tank.

Got it figured out. I found an o ring at Tractor supply today. It's for a pressure washer but the correct size. It worked well.
