Helping teach a class this weekend! This will be my first official apprentice teaching experience. Very excited and a little nervous. Sounds like about 30 students signed up which is promising for our future trappers. Can't wait to meet some great people and start giving back to the trapping community a bit more!

Awesome! I enjoy helping teach the trapper education classes here. It is a lot of fun.

Good luck!

Here in my district in Virginia we do two classes a year a basic in the spring and a advance in the fall. I have a youth event this Sat put on by a large farm and the game department I always have a blast teaching the kids.

No matter where you go there you are.

Thanks guys! I believe I'm pretty prepared and certainly willing to answer any questions I can. This is something I have wanted to do for a long time. I myself completed the course about 25 years ago and have taken several youngsters to the class since. About 10 years ago I took a young man and there where only 2 instructors for a large class. They asked if I would be willing to do some demos so they could have smaller groups. I Glady did so and loved it. I decided then I wanted to be an instructor but always made my own excuses why I couldn't do it yet. Until now! Let the fun begin!
