Badgerman50 OP trapper B Joined: Oct 2014 Posts: 1,655 Meridian , ID	Do any of you long time coyote men know the basic difference between the two? I know the old #5 was a food based lure. I have no interest in trying to figure out formulas. I’m just interested in what the difference between Mast coyote 1 and 6 is. As in was one a curiosity and the other something else etc...? Preacherman Les trapper P Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 933 AR	James Masts lures (later made by Frank Terry) were very popular in the west. His Coyote #1,5,&6 were call type lures, strong in odor. They were heavily used by ADC men back in the day. As mentioned, a lot of his lures had unique odors. They were not just a copy or rebuild of someone elses formula.
