I’ve put it on the list! I’m in the list Finn posted, can’t put down “the Gulag Archipelago”.

X2 on a couple already mentioned.

Wild Bill Donovan
Alaska Wolfman

There is a nine vulume set published by University of Nebraska that contains all the journals of Lewis and Clark. Both officers and three sargents kept journals. The footnotes are as interesting as what was recorded by the men. I read these twice. Loaned the box set out and no longer know where they are.

Just finished a book about Kit Carson by Hampton Sides. Very well researched and written. Lots of history I never learned before.

The absolute best book is River of Darkness about Pizarro and his lieutennant. More adventure and excitememt than anything I have ever read.

The whole 'Going Home' series is pretty enjoyable reading. I have read the whole thing a few times, probably once a year for the last few years.

Highly recommend for enjoyable reading.

Thanks Charles. I’ll look into them. I enjoy history and think the journals of Lewis and Clark will be interesting.

The Bible. Of course.

My Life and Work. The autobiography of Henry Ford. Who better to write an auto biography?

Edison as I Know Him. Written by his friend and admirer, Henry Ford.

Today and Tomorrow. Written by Henry Ford.

Theodore Roosevelt, an autobiography.

The Enjoyment of Music. By Joseph Machlis

Beowulf.

The Magna Carta.

The Declaration of Independence.

The United States Constitution.

The Complete works of William Shakespeare

That should keep you busy for awhile.

Thanks Willy!

The Bible is already on my daily reading routine.

I’ll add your other suggestions as well. Henry Ford is very interesting.

And I’ve always enjoyed reading about Theodore Roosevelt.

Are you guys reading the original or the abridged version?

Not sure I have ever read an abridged version. So I had to look it up. Modified the book to be a shorten version
