traps are not victors they are oneida jump traps You're absolutely right. Thanks! Just went off the "V" cut out of the pan. So, am I right in thinking the top pic is a #13 Oneida Jump with a #14 pan on it?

traps are not victors they are oneida jump traps This is 100% correct. However, those jump traps were made by the same company that made Victor traps and they do have the 'V' cut out of the pan. I'm willing to bet that at least 50% of trappers, if not more, call them Victor jumps. Just saying............

When we were able to use them I had quite a pile of 14's,and I remember a couple of them looking exactly like the first picture,had 14 pans on them too.I thought they were just different jaw designs they went thru.
