cfowler OP trapper Joined: Apr 2014 Posts: 7,085 MO	Both measured 6 3/4" across on the base where it holds the jaw. Didn't measure all the way out to where the chain attaches. snakecollector trapper S Joined: Mar 2012 Posts: 622 S.W. Oregon,USA	At 6 3/4" they are both #14, the #13 is 5 7/8". The difference is that the one with the narrow spring tab is an Oneida Community trap and the other one with the wide spring tab was made by Animal Trap Company and has a lower jaw profile.
