The US needs new immigration laws and then they need to be implemented and enforced. US presidents in the past have not wanted to tackle the long going issue because they would loose votes. We have portals all over Mexico that allow people seeking asylum to enter US. Problem is those portals don't allow all the illegal stuff like sex traficing, human trafficking, drug smuggling, or illegal entry. So those portals are bypassed by criminals because it is easier to just risk it and cross border. We tighten up on our southern boarder by building wall and using military?
