Spiders what you need are lots of spiders

a bandanna , a mosquito head net , an over-sized long sleeve cotton work shirt ,a pair of mechanix gloves and 2 rubber bands


and spray your cloths down with permethrin and hang dry

put on the bandanna to keep them from getting to your neck where the netting might touch, then your wide brimmed hat , the mosquito net over that and then the shirt so that the netting is under the collar and gloves pull the cuffs sown over the gloves and put on the rubber bands to hold them

one more thing you might want ear buds and music or foam ear plugs i fhtye are really bad

this is how I pick tomatoes , stick an arm in a tomato plant and out comes a swarm of skeeters some years

your likely to have most of this stuff already or you can find it on the cheap.

its a little warm but a rain coat and headnet will keep them off of you with no repelant smell on your bait

I know some old timers who actually spray their bait with OFF!. They swear buy it. I haven't tried it myself.
