Just purchased a live trap,It's marked Never Fail,Norvell Shapleigh Hardware Co. St. Louis. Guy who sold it said it was a crab trap,but it looks to me like a repeating squirrel or rat trap.Any ideas on this trap,or collectors value? It has a door in one end,funnel in other,with a swinging pan and lever inside. Any help would be appreciated. P.S, can't find the trap online,but it appears Norvell Shapleigh changed names in 1918. Thanks

The one I found on line looks similar to the "Marty" mouse trap that I have.

I would guess it to be a rat trap. How long is it?

TY for replies guys.I think it's 18 or 19 inches long. The one Okie found was the only one I found. Thought it was interesting that it could be 100 years old. Also looks very similar to the Marty trap.
