The Irony is Carroll O'Connor the actor who played Archie Bunker has more in common with Hillary Clinton than Archie Bunker. O'Connor was putting all of his political hatred , stereotypes and disgust into the character Archie Bunker while trying to make him still a person and not a monster.
I loved the show growing up and later found out the Actor was 180 degrees the opposite of Archie.
What Makes America Great ? Is that the success or failure is not with a few at the top , but much more so with the 90 million of us who are scratching out a living working to make our lives better.
and if your thinking but Pete there are 330 million people in this country I would agree I was probably overly Generous , there could easily be only 75 million of use actually working figure in the kids , the retired , the ill , the incarcerated , the lazy. each one of use is likely supporting 2-3 others.
those at the top can put road blocks in your way or remove them but they can't yet do much more.
if you can never gain from your labors why would you work , this is the downfall of communism?
the USSR had laborers , land , natural resources and yet it failed why because while we were motivated to work to improve our situation they were just working for the same whether they worked harder or not they got he same food , the same house the same car.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

The constitution. The notion that all men are created equal and have the same rights, regardless of race, religion or political views.
Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

Freedom of speech and freedom of the press are two biggies unfortunately, accuracy isn't important...

Being proud of your country and not turning on the tv or radio and hearing an overpaid musician or actor complaining how bad the country is and telling us how we should think

The peaceful transition of power for the last 240 years. Unfortunately, I think we are approaching the end of that fortunate statistic. I agree.
