On 4-10 I ordered 1 Sauvageau 2001-12F Body Grip Trap to try out. It was $36 then today I looked at them again thinking of getting a few more until I see the price jumped to $45.07. I like them just not sure I like them well enough to pay that kind of price....

They are made in Canada. They are passing the cost of steel tariffs on to the consumers.

Is that Canadian prices or US? They are great traps though. Caught a few muskrats by the tail with their big traps.

Wow, been awhile since I bought any. I would always by a few at the North American Fur Harvesters store when I was in Canada. I just checked their price. $38.50can. That is $29.50US. Shipping to the US must be expensive.

If you are a FHA fur shipper they will normally give you a discount

Respect the animal ,it was a gift,as was the right to harvest it.
