I'm actually going to vacuum seal all of the fur in big heavy duty plastic bags, and just store it in a spare bedroom in the house. The vacuum sealing should keep the furs from going stale, and keeping it in a dark room in the house should keep it safe from bugs and other critters. I have never heard of anybody storing fur in this manner, so it will be a learning experience to see if it works out okay. Very bad idea!! Might as well toss it now. Smart folks learn from others mistakes, not their own. Learn from knowledgeable people on this thread.

I know vacuum sealed fish stored will rot if not refrigerated but salted fish are stored without refrigeration even in the Carribean Islands. Yes, but they ferment. I think it would be safer to NOT seal them in plastic. Just my opinion.

Boy you really piled up the greys. Is that from mostly trapping or calling? It's about half called and half trapped.
