I checked with Paul to see if I could post this . Beware anybody or dealer like myself doing business with Jake Meadows of Mud River lures he wrote me a bad check almost a year ago for almost 3k. He pd a little but still into me for 2k. Now refuses .Heard he scammed alot of customers to . This gives the industry a bad rep guys like this. So beware if u buy anything of his lures at conventions. Because your supporting a theaf and that s property of no b.s. lures. Anybody need more info contact me thanks KENDALL

Good information thanks for sharing. Its no fun getting scammed, in 30 years in this business I've only had it happen twice. Both times it was a real hassle trying to get my money back. One fellow in MI really got us, and we never saw a dime. Hope it works out better for you.

Mud River Lures..why does that ring a bell to me? did I read a post of his on here somewhere with a link to his product?

If you look in the bad feedback you’ll see Jake Meadows and his Mud River listed. I harassed him for 7 months before he paid me. He’s a liar and thief. I reported him to West Virginia Better Business Bureau. They said if they got multiple reports they could take action. He’s got a table at the NTA this year just like last and NTA couldn’t care less what kind of dirt bag has a table at their Convention. Meadows isn’t smart enough to block a phone number so I’d text him in the early morning when I got up to go pee and remind him what I thought of him. He didn’t like being called “Porky” either. He told me I was old! Sorry you got taken in by the POS! Make his life miserable, it may help.

Glad you got paid. I didnt think about the BBB, going to give them a call. Stay away from BL Sheets in Midland MI. hes as crooked as they come and took more than one outfitter for a bunch of money. The thing that bothers me about him is that he hides behind religion to make you trust him......DONT.

Same story here, had to hassle him for 6 months or so to get my money out of him as well a couple years ago. Lots of bad feedback bout him

Maybe those who are at the NTA can discourage people from buying at his booth. Just let them know what kind of a person he is. Hit him where it hurts. Make flyers and hand them out. A peaceful protest.

I'm having the check blown up at my booth . This stuff has to stop NY,and pa convention contacted me said they were not letting him in will see . I contacted the NTA and they said they can't turn anyone away . But I bet they would if he wrote them a bad check

So according to NTA, PETA, Humane Society, Black Lives Matter, etc. can get tables at the Convention! Since when does the NTA have to be politically correct? It’s NOT okay to let a known thief get a table either. I called Tammy Masterson and she said she couldn’t do anything about it. For good reason, the NTA should have the right to ban anyone. As long as the checks good they’ll take it from anyone. This needs to be addressed! If Meadows had been banned as I tried to do LAST YEAR, Kendall might not have been ripped off. See how that works fellas!

Exactly horse creek . I agree what's sad is he's gonna keep ripping guys off and not send products and so forth. I even said I pay for his tables or donate free traps for auction . And they said know . What's sad is I support All 3 nta shows and travel my (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) off for this and they can't do nothing about it. They did tell me if more guys come forward that would help. He needs banned at every convention period
