Pretty close, but 3's not enough. I can think of several that mite take K.T.'s place, Patsy Cline being one, but the other 2 are, IMO, solid country gold for the contributions they made in opening the doors for female singers of all genres during the 1940's, 50's and 60's. Depends on your definition of greatness. If you consider marketing success as the measure of greatness, no one will prolly ever touch Dolly Parton. And yes, I'm obviously biased and uninformed about other genres by choice, my bad but I can't help it.
