Has anyone used binder paper clips to hold a snare to the support wire? Any information or ideas? Thank you

Maybe for fence snares. Better options out there.

Not the best system but It will work. Bread wrapper ties will also work.

If you don't use real support collars (or can't like on fences), good black electrical tape makes an acceptable substitute. Those tiny binder clips would hold too I'd think but not well enough to angle your snares much if there's an incline.

I use a small wrap of floral wire. This serves other purposes, like wiring dead grass to support wires or other things to break up the outline.

Do the S bend at the end of the wire.

I don't care much for the s bend, but I do use it. Just wanted something faster.
I like the floral wire. Break up the outline, excellent idea. I will try that.

If you make the bend right, it's better than using a whammy as far as the ability to support and manipulate the angle the snare is held at.

It's gotta be tight, a ground out pair of lineman pliers like Newt shows makes it idiot proof.

Right now,I'm using 24 ga floral wire. The thinner stuff didn't work that well.If I found 22 ga,I'd probably try that.

I do like taximan only with tie wire. lots easier than surgical tubing or whammys. that tie wire serves all kinds of uses. i'd hate to trap without it and don't want to even think about snaring without any

I just bend a U in the support wire then bend U perpendicular to the support wire so snare will lay in it after I wrap it around the support wire its super easy ,fast, and descreet its the simplest way ive seen to support a snare

Wammys work faster n better, no need to hang snare from fence I use #9 wire to support all my snares
