Nice job Hal! Its that aromatic red cedar local? Does it grow good in your neck of the woods? It's very sparse around here and what does grow never seems to get anywhere, like takes like 15 yrs. to put on an inch. Can't say I've ever seen one over 12" in dia either.. Very pretty wood though! You forgot the beer holder in the arm rest...

I bet that chair will be a pleasure for many people to sit in. I always found those chairs to be quite comfortable. Now it just needs a couple of good coats of oil based paint.

You have to find them in a decent place without a lot of wind because it shakes the tree and the wood just cracks when it dries. I logged these about 20 years ago and had a guy come with a portable bandsaw mill and cut. Yea yea yea I know a cup holder.LOL
