Sitting in a cafe in Big Sandy MT when Tester comes in. His hometown. Not a single person smiled at him, waved or even gave a public acknowledgement. Several frowned and then got up and left. That surprised me. Sure was a lot different when Conrad Burns came into a restaurant in Billing when I was there. I hear, but don't know for sure, that he has never won his home district in an election.

Tester claims to be for the vets but he refuses to even consider privatizing the medical side of the VA. It is why he took those shots at Jackson.

I had a major issue with the VA here in MT a couple years ago and again this past year. Ft Harrison got my leg infected and I about lost it. A week in ICU in Bozeman then they refused the treatment through Choice etc...same old story. Went to Testers office for help given he is on the Vet committee. Nobody at Ft Harrison would even return their calls. As always I just pressured the VA myself to finally get what was required. Tester does nothing for vets in MT but make claims.

He started a new TV ad campaign here where he acts like a tough guy (he even dares to say dam^! LOL), so I assume that is another reason he acted like an a** toward Jackson. Good for Trump to call him out and target him. He is do nothing failed farmer/businessman and a liberal schil Senator who needs to be booted. He did himself no favors with this nonsense.

I called his office last week to ask what evidence he had and got hung up on in short order. I'd encourage other MT trappers and vets to do the same thing and see what the response is.

Part of his "tough guy" image makeover. He flips all over the place. He voted against DACA under Obama because it was unpopular in MT, then this year he is all for it as long as it is Trump.

When you speak with his staff they blame everything on Trump or Bush.

He is toast in November I'd bet.

He can't garner a smile or a vote anyplace other than Boze-Angeles, Kalispell, Helena, the reservations or Missoula. I'd LOVE to see him campaign in Jordan or Big Timber ...they would run him out on a rail.

Matt Rosendale, Russ Fagg, Troy Downing and Al Olszewski are throwing their hat in the ring for Republican primary. Tester has about 12 million to work with and be tough to beat him with that kind if money.

The GOP will come in with lots of money to beat him as they will with Heidi in ND. McCaskill is also very vulnerable. Turnout will be key, but if Jon keeps this sort of thing up that will not be a problem. He does need to be called out by vets given MT has the highest % of vets of any state and none that I know approve of the MT VA leadership who Tester won't do anything about. He is owned by the Gov unions and California immigrants.

I'd guess Trump will be making a couple stops in MT this summer and fall. The Bozeman kiddie crowd will go insane.
