I recently purchased "Fisher Trapping: Pennsylvania Foothold Methods" by Ralph Scherder & Rich Faler. I've spent the last few days reading the book and have loved every chance in which I was able to sit alone and read this book.

This book is amazing in it's detailed descriptions on every subject from location, sets, terrain, etc... It's detailed enough that even a simpleton such as myself can easily understand what is being described. Not only is it described in such detail, there is a vast array of pictures to go along with just about everything that is described by words.

I feel that it's a very well written book, easy to read and understand, and IMHO it is also a very enjoyable and exciting read.

I'd highly recommend this book to any beginner, much like myself, as well as anyone else who doesn't know everything that there is to know about trapping fisher. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and enjoyed it so much that I will most certainly read it another two or three times prior to PA's fisher trapping season.

Thank you gentlemen for a great book,
Chad

Thank you very much Joe! That's going into my shopping cart right now.

As a new trapper I think that what I needed was for someone to thoroughly explain to me as to how to work the mountain. That's where I love to be and where my heart is. These two gentlemen did just that and have given me all of the confidence that I need to do so.

Is the DVD general trapping or species specific?
