I think you're right. And interpretation of said law can go either way.

Unless they have metal detectors at the doors why would any business know if you are carrying ? Way to many people that carry around here want a little bit of they’er weapon showing. The law here says you should make an attempt to keep the weapon covered but that a small portion of the gun or holster showing is acceptable. Too many people around here think this is an excuse to show off !

In my mind CC is just that and if done right no one should know ! That being said , would you break the law just because you can ?

My state actually has it right on the permit that it is not valid in several places. One of those is a hospital. If I forget I am packing and enter an area or place where my permit is not valid, then I am committing a felony.......carrying a concealed weapon without a permit to do so.

maybe it is the 46% increase in hospital shootings from 2014 to 2015

or the fact that security even if on site is often minutes away probably faster to call a code blue than get hospital security most of the time because the code team is on the floor and security is likely on another floor or a the other end of the hospital.

name another type of business that a large city maybe had 3-4 of that averages 14 shootings a year that you wouldn't carry at?

Problem is they drug you up then what? If they put out for a while and your not in control of it? I'd leave it at home if not allowed!

In Tx. the posted "No Guns" signs have to be a certain size, with exact wording or they
are meaningless. Those little sticker\signs mean nothing. Laws work both ways.
