Interesting video Bernie, thanks for sharing. The black Hole does away with the little piece of plywood. And I use a golf club shaft for probing around the mounds to find the tunnel.

I don't cover or mess with ply wood on the death clutch- seldom have plugs as well

I use victor 0 longsprings and would do it just like Bernies video. I once caught 5 from one mound, and have taken two or three several times. This was when I was a kid and I would check them several times per day.

I just caught my first one of the year this morning.

Help yourself.

Set 4 yesterday and caught 4 today with 2 checks. They are just starting to come out so going to start hitting it hard next week.

We use Lanesboro traps and like them. They are very useful in certain situations. We also use DK and Cinchers. Just starting to dig in our area. Next week they will be going full speed. Where did you find your Lanesboro’s?

Nothing against kids trapping just telling the guy that's what he is up against. You always that quick to jump down somebody's throat?

Holy, if you consider that jumping down your throat you need to spend some more time outside in our minnesota winters and thicken up that skin a little bit!
