If you weren't the twit Hal, you would know that Kroger has a store that sells guns. Just because you are fluent with a keyboard doesn't mean that you aren't ignorant. They could quit selling depends undergarments and you might change your mind!

Pretty soon there will need to be a grocery store in the back of the gun stores the way this keeps going. lol Pierre, Sd and some other SD towns already have them (or at least they did, I haven't been to Pierre for a while). Called "Dakota Mart"- big gun and outdoor sports section in the basement, groceries on the main floor. If I had the capital, I'd start a gun store-supermarket here...

This whole thing is getting stranger and stranger. With youtube banning videos about certain guns or links to places that sell guns etc. Facebook getting their knickers in a twist about some gun groups on there and erasing them, Noe Kroger not letting gun magazines on their shelves. Is history starting a new repeat again? Burning of books in Germany comes to mind. Or "Farenheit 451" anyone ??

Shelve space is money in the grocery business. If it were about money, Kroger would have eliminated the whole magazine rack and sold the available shelve space to the highest bidding vendor. Magazines are not high volume sellers in the grocery store. Purely a political/perception move on Kroger's part. To boycott is commendable. Good for people to stand on principle and not cower to political pressure applied by .gov and their band of crony capitalist.

I don't understand why they don't just quietly remove the magazines they find offensive. Seems like a poor business plan to intentionally irk a third or more of your customer base. But then, these people probably think everyone but the NRA wants to ban guns because they actually believe what the press is spewing.

Why not? Oh you should! They have a wide selection of groceries, fresh produce, and beer. (These things get to be amusing after a while. ) I am of the opinion that choosing a grocer on accounta' it sells gun magazines may be a mis appropriation of priorities. So next I challenge you to visit other grocery chains, and see if you can find a local grocery outlet, that does offer these gun magazines so you can shop there. (Please don't try this at home as some of you are likely to starve to death.)

I challenge you to visit a real grocery chain that supports what we are about, like this one. https://www.facebook.com/schlegels/From fresh steaks to nuts and bolts to guns and ammo. (no beer tho, you'll have to go dry. And no Sunday sales)
