My son Taylor was a guide for a charity Turkey hunt in Nashville, Tenn.

Saturday.

Self Video shows Bass Pro Shops Representative killing the turkey.

He said the birds really performed.

They both killed Gobblers.

The event raised $80,000 for charity.

Governor's One Shot

I was thinking it would be a good way to raise money for our organizations promoting kids education to the cause.

There were 80 teams. $1000 is donated for every team. A team is a hunter and guide. Landowners give access to their property for the hunt.

It wouldn,t need to be trapping. The goal is to raise funds.

The organization that sponsored this hunt is the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation which is the charitable arm of Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. The money they raise can be used to support programs and projects of the agency. It provides flexibility to provide funding to things that the agency is not able to do. All state DNR's/Wildlife Agencys would probably benefit from have a similar charitable organization. Along with the $80,000 from the hunters themselves, there was a lot more contributions made through the auction and the banquet table sponsors for a total of close to $300,000.
