Just curious! Would a coyote wring it’s foot off if the trap didn’t come out of the bed? I was thinking about welding a trap to a steel plate and staking it down.

Without swivels you would have more wring outs then not IMO.

Back In the day there was a tapered rod device that was bolted to the bottom of the trap frame. I think It was called Insta bed. Must not have worked to good because you don't see them advertised anywhere.
