Anyone ever fish it for crappie?

Or any other giant slab crappie hotspots?

Lakes Sardis, Enid and Grenada are all close and hot spots for crappie. Here is a link to the condtions Crappie lakes Weather can make or break a trip. Enid is the spot the record crappie 5 lbs + was caught in 1952.

I've fished Enid, Grenada, Sardis and Washington. I've had some good trips and some bad trips. The wind down there makes those lakes extremely dangerous. The water can get real shallow in spots you wouldn't think so be real careful if you go. But just like any other crappie lakes look for the boats. The quality of fish down there is amazing.

In the next few years I would like to go there for a large crappie. In WV, 1.5 pounds is a citation sized fish and fairly difficult to attain.
