I pay $149 for nonresident hunting/fishing in Ohio which is probably the best deal for me

Ohio nonres huntingfee increase goes into effect this year so that will be a bit more

Hey sniper, I don't blame Ohio for going up on their nonresident license. As of now I can buy my Ohio non residents cheaper than I can buy a resident license here in Tennessee

$133 will get you a Sportsmans license good for fishing, hunting, bear, deer, turkey, archery, muzzleloader and stocked trout stamp

breaking it down
Fishing 23
Trout 23

Hunting 23

Mine runs 183 - for the sportsmans package, state trapping, and national forest stamps

that gets me 4 deer, a bear, 3 turkey, trout at the end of my driveway, and all the coons, possums, and skunks I care to clean

I got my lifetime sportsman license at 65 for $329 and it covers everything. You can get a basic hunt fish trap license for $5 for life at 65 but you will have to pay fees for several other license but is a good deal if you are only doing a few things locally. You are a landowner and you can hunt fish trap for free on your own land. I had been buying the sportsman that covers everything but it went $166 in the last couple of years.

26.00$ resident fishing all species license
11.00$ base/small game hunting license (required to get hunting tags)
40.00$ deer combo tag (allows for 2 deer/buck)
15.00$ trapping tag (Fur Harvester)
5.00$ bear application (tag is additional 25.00$ if drawn)
5.00 elk application (tag is 100.00$ if drawn)
15.00$ turkey tag
25.00$ federal waterfowl stamp
12.00$ MI waterfowl license
26.50$ ORV registration
10.00$ ORV Trail permit.

Michigan is expensive!

I am spending over 100$ in my home state for licenses. I also spend about 640.00$ for a non-resident elk tag for Idaho.
