I weigh all I catch and my guess at first glance was around 35 lbs. Did you skin and stretch him? If so, what did he stretch to the base of the tail?
I hear tell of these 50 to 60 pounders or more and lots that folks saw that are bigger than German Shepherds but I have yet to lay hands on one that big. I have caught a few males over 40 but the males in my neck of the woods generally run in the mid 30s range with the average females in the upper 20s and lower 30s. I have had several stretch around 50" with one that went 53" to the base of the tail.

Wow, just wow!
This thread just proves how little folks actually read on here. I agree and how many can and cannot size a coyote by a picture. The chest and forearms on that coyote aren’t that of a real heavy coyote.
