I want thank everyone for the delicious cookies and all the well wishes. I am doing pretty good after my total knee replacement on March 22. We were sent home that same day. They said the second and third day would be the worst and it has been. Hal has been taking care of me and doing a great job. He fixed chicken and noodles yesterday! I was feeling a little rough this morning and when those cookies showed up at the door it really cheered me up. Thank you for your kind thoughts and bless all of you. PS: The hardest part of PT is putting up with Hal so those cookies were a joy.

Just how many cookies does it take to blank Hal from your thoughts?

Hal probably hides them around the house to make Miz find them for advanced therapy, he just can't be trusted !!

Nice to hear your getting along Miz, changing knees is not something to take lightly !!

The discretionary fund people do a great job in giving a bit of comfort to those who need it. Its good to hear your coping well with Hal, errr, I mean your pain, errr, kinda the same thing.

I'm a bit concerned about the so called chicken and noodles that he prepared for you. Did did he happen to say where the chicken came from?
I wish you well in your recovery. The hardest part of last few surgeries on my total knee replacement has been trying to sleep on my back and keep the leg elevated. I could not wait to finally sleep on my side again.

It doesn't matter!...who cares?

We MUST KEEP sending her cookies, obviously, to help her the best we can!

Glad to hear from you. Seen my Dad go through it with both knees, it's not easy. Keep moving and your mind clear, at least that's what he always said.

Prayers sent to you.

Oh tell Hal paper plates are alright. Don't want him getting dish water hands. LOL
