Yesterday morning, Miz went in for a complete knee replacement. At 6:30 .a.m. she was under the knife. At 6:00 p.m. she walked to the house.

Good on her Hal. Just make sure she does her therapy/ exercise. Long term results/mobility are dependent upon it. My Dad did both at the same time and the hardest part was getting him to stay with the program. My step mother (a nurse) about had to flog him, but he's glad now.

I'm glad to hear all went well. The next few days may be rough once all of the pain medication wears off.
I felt great leaving the hospital after my replacement. 24 hrs later I was not felling as bullet proof.

Give it about 30 hr and get back to us . I remember mine next morning walk all over thought this is great next morning holy cow. Just take meds as needed and do the physical therapy . Mine was not a replace just a repair best decision I ever made .

I imagine he ran out of gas, and somebody had to push the car home. Can't just leave a car by the side of the road. (I believe he helped her push it up the hill at the end of the driveway, didn't want to overwork her knee on the first day.)
