good advice Someone that has a good order this year might not have a good order next year and will price accordingly, the buyer that's hot today could be a zero next year

I have burnt my bridge only once...I promise you I will burn the fur before ever going to them again. Other than that I totally agree, sometimes you just take a hit just to stick by your morals.

You mention burning fur, story here southern WI a guy came to a buyers truck in fall of 87 with a pile of fox. Price quoted to him was $20 less than two weeks prior price being paid, he took them home. He came back a month later, around Christmas I think, price was less, threatened to burn them, he took them home. He came back last time price was even less, he burned them in the parking lot. Buyer said doesn't hurt my feelings, other guys said less on the market, wish more guys would burn them.

Buyer said doesn't hurt my feelings, other guys said less on the market, wish more guys would burn them. Guess he was expecting a different reaction like “Hey, we can work it out” from the buyer and “He’s a man of his word. When he says he’s going to waste everything he worked so hard for he means it, and dang it that’s a rare thing these days. He’ll burn it right then and there and litter someone else’s parking lot. That’s who my boys want to be like when they grow up——a man that does what he says!” Instead, no one gave a rip. Would have been funny to get a littering ticket to top it off. poor miserable
