Stainless steel cable use only. Aluminum ferrules will fail if used on SS cable in wet environs.

His site doesn't show them. You could use 1/16" and open them up with a 3/32" bit or use 3/32" copper ferrules but they would be too bulky to suit me.I don't think the snare shop shows them either.

1/16th fits 5/64th as well. 3 bags of them in my shop right now, using them on 5/64 stainless.

No. Same reason you can't use aluminum on stainless. You get galvanic corrosion.

Sure you can! Copper is required for aviation use, whether the cable is stainless or galvanized. No aluminum allowed. Copper is stronger.

I have run aluminum skiffs in saltwater, in Alaska, for 30 years. I use ALL stainless screws, and bolts. I have never had a problem with galvanic corrosion.

Just doing what I want now.

It's Aluminum and copper that don't mix.

And you have a Zinc sacrificial anode on the hull.
Any Galvanized steel plumbing requires a brass fitting between it and copper pipe.

Here is a little information about galvanic action.
