I would also like to know this answer. It makes absolutely no sense saying that no trapper should take matters into their own hands, even though it’s beaver season. Beavers would be dead long before they ever flooded my house. Even if I wasn’t a “beaver trapper”, I’d be learning how to do it in a hurry. How someone can just sit back and let a rodent problem destroy their property without doing something about it is beyond me.

There must be more to it than what we know.I know for a fact that our pgc officers up here will tell you to do what you gotta do when it comes to property damage.Ive even been told to "just get em outta there" by one once,during august if i remember right.Keep in mind,this was after the officer checked on the situation,and it was indeed damaging property.

In this area of the state you are only allowed 5 beaver now. When I lived in the area it was 20 beaver per year and I did trap the very same culvert they are talking about for multiple years until the rail road gated off the access to it near the county line.
