I had to change the Valdosta, Ga stop location to T3 Outdoors on St. Augustine Road as Agri-supply would not give permission to use their parking lot after hours....go figure.
This new location is one mile east of I-75 at Exit 16.
5 to 6 pm on Friday March 23rd. Please share with anyone down here in the deep South that has some fur to sell.
Beaver and otter will be bought skint and frozen.
All other species must be dried.
Otters and bobcats must have CITES tags attached from your state.

I don't do Facebook.
Ga trappers and FL trappers associations should have this info on their websites......
...Just checked and it is NOT!
I'm calling both now...

Hey Old man you need to do a little FB. Lots of good southern trappers on there. Down South Trappers.
Need them to have a pick up over west central way near Bama land.------Better beaver to, lol. I got a feeling this will be the one and only trip GFWC will make this far into south Ga. I'm hoping there will be some beaver pelts at this stop but there just isn't much trapping down here. My 25 or so beaver won't be enough to justify their fuel costs. Alabama might be a better run for them next year.

Hey Swamp they are stopping in Columbia sc March 24th. This will be their second year here so maybe with enough "small" stops along southeast it will make it worth their while. I've only got 15 beaver or so and about the same Amount of otters but hope to see a good turnout. It's nice to have a market for green beaver. I'm putting my otters up so I have options. Have some pretty nice ones and may have more tanned depending on what they offer.
Happy Trapping . . .

riverotter, i don't think otter will be a nose count kind of deal. I've read anywhere $25-40 depending on grade. Would love to hear from anymore that have sold otter to Groenwold lately.

How much did he say on put up otters SW? I havent talked prices with GFWC. Last year mine were put up and he paid 50 and down. My average was 30. I had about 2 dozen or so if I remember.
