How many of you have been to a Metallica concert? I've heard they put on a great show. One of my wife's favorite bands, we just got tickets to see them in Sioux Falls this coming September.

I've seen them. It was a very good concert. They are playing at Penn State in October and the wife and kids all want to go. It's gonna be hard for me to tur them down.

I saw them in State College around 96 or 97. One of my favorite bands. It will be hard to top the GNR show my wife and I went to in Hershey last summer.

Watched them last fall.....they are unreal live. Long show, can't believe He still belts out the tunes that clear. Go, you wont be disappointed.

Wear ear plugs. It will muffle the sound a bit and make it sound better.

I'm not sure if they still do it. But the songs used to be played faster than the album versions.

Can I ask how good your seats are and what the cost is?

They said on the news last night the price range was $65-135 (not quite sure on the high number). The "Denny" holds about 12 thou or so people. I haven't been to a concert there but people seem to enjoy shows in the venue. Garth Brooks supposedly sold out 9 shows there back last Sept (?, you can see how much I follow concerts nowadays).

They are going to be in Lincoln on Sept. 6.Should be a great show.

Wife got us tickets for grand forks shows. Also got us a hot tub room in the hotel where the concert will be. Something tells me it’s going to be a rough morning after the show.

Kre, tickets cost $135 each. They had an early buy if you have a Citi Credit Card. We are in one of the first rows of the top tier. If the oval of the arena is like a clock face, we would be in the section at about 6:00, with the narrow ends of the arena being at 3:00 and 9:00. Not sure how the stage is laid out, it is in the middle of the arena, but not sure which way the band faces or how they move around.

They are playing at Target Center in Minneapolis also, but Sioux Falls isn't much farther for us, plus parking is a lot easier at the Sanford Arena versus downtown Minneapolis.

I saw them in '04, they are my favorite band hands down. I would highly recommend bringing ear plugs. The day following the concert I bet my hearing was reduced by 50%, and they rang for 4 days solid. I was front row on the floor though.

Seen them twice they put on a great show. Go to you tube and look up the Joe Rogan podcast for the James Hetfield interview. It’s pretty good he talks about getting sober leaving LA and moving to Colorado. He is an avid hunter and likes chasing elk and mulies.

They are coming near me in 2019 and I will spare no expense to go! Saw them about 10 years ago, they rock!! Just get the tickets, you won't be disappointed.

Saw them at Newton Speedway in Iowa last summer . They sound great live, you will not be disappointed.

Got tickets to the Lincoln NE show. Seen them for the first time last year in Denver. One heck of a performance. 36 years and still one of, if not THE most popular heavy metal band in North America, if not the world. Going to try and make the Salt Lake show as well. They are MY favorite band ever!

Metallica fact...... They are are the ONLY band to play on ALL 7 continents, and yes, that includes Antarctica. AND they did it all in the same year!

Are they as good as Barry Manilow?
