My wood dye is still in my metal container since November. It has been frozen and thawed out several times would it still be usable to re dye my traps in the next couple of weeks. Will dye get a smell after sitting in a pot like that for a while?

mine sits in the shed and is dried out by the next year. Just add more and keep going
