You can't help but think a guy like Tom would be a member on here. I have always watched him on TV growing up, and I like how he brings the viewer along. It's nice to hear from the rest of you how humble he has stayed.

glad you are one of us Tom, thanks for your support over the years. The video of bernie, mark june, and yourself. Professionals of water and land trapping were one of the catalysts used to get me deeper into trapping as a teenager.

Those days seem not that long ago, but there's been a bit of water go over the dam since Tom came and filmed me in Michigan for the TPC video series. This year marks 40 years I've been a trapper and I can honestly say there are very few trappers, count 'em on one hand, that I have met that are as driven to succeed as Tom Miranda. Tom ventured into hunting as doors opened for him because of his talent + hard work ethic. Make no mistake, hunting, trapping, you name it... the bigger your name, the more people admire you and the more people... well the opposite of admire. Tom's roots are trapping. Pure, stone cold hunter and trapper. Or maybe hunter and trapper. Regardless, Tom has held up trapping in the lime light many times in the face of antis and you gotta love that about our brother in the sport.

I haven't talked to Tom in a while, shame on me!

I take church groups of men and boys on wilderness fishing adventures in Ontario each year and this year I have one July 22-27. Then on the 30th I turn right back around and go to Northwest Ontario to put out my bear baits. So no NTA for me this year. Have fun everyone.
