I don't have any pictures, but I made 3 all the same way and all work fine for me.

Took a metal handle from a push broom, glued a clothesline tensioner in the end. http://www.acehardware.com/product/index...WsaAjH-EALw_wcB
Ran clothes line out of the plastic handle and tied it fast to the end. The loose end goes through the tensioner.

I open the loop, slip over the critters head, put on the tensioner end, and then do what I gotta do. When I'm done, pull on the tensioner, loosen the rope, undo from critter's head, and wait for next time.

Grey fox this am was quite impressed with the design and speed of my homemade pole. May he rest in peace.

I made another one using 3/32 cable, but it seems to want to kink up too much and not make a nice loop.

Just my opinion. They are fine for light work. If you are doing coyotes or wolves, get a commercial one. Much stronger and will last longer.

I just used a 1 1/4inch conduit. it locks in place with a clothes line locking device, really cheap and easy!

I don't trust those cheap clothes line tensioners myself. I like a more guaranteed solid lock up...

Simple pole to make. Just drill a small hole through one side near the end of a piece of pipe or conduit and cut a notch in the other end. Make a loop of 1/8" cable and attach it to the end of a chain. Put a stop on one end of the cable through the loop and drop the chain back through the pipe.

Works great and no parts to break. Make it as heavy duty as you want.
