Yep,sold two weeks ago did a whole lot better than the sale..now that the cat market has been set it's going to be tough to do any better..but if you have XL pale heavy "A" belly cats you'll still do good..the coyote average was dissapoitong too compared to two weeks ago.. I agree a 100%

Jittery fur buyer stock market aftershocks? The stock market's climbing again so I guess we'll see how it goes. With the dollar lower against foreign currencies hopefully the upcoming FHA and NAFA sales, with their foreign buyers, may be a different story than we just saw in Utah. Hopefully.

Stock market isn't going to help the inventory of B/C cats nobody wants.

I've never had a cat I've put up to get less than 100.
Also I've never had grade A- B+ cats go for mid 200's.
Top cat that was the best I had ever gotten was only 630. Too many cats, buyers market.

12 short years ago, the western basis was $450 no push, no bonus $450 that's the top. A good collection of 15 cats would average $200. Then the market blew up guys that never caught a cat were buying vehicles with cat money, things were awesome. Now the harsh reality is coming full circle and class of 2008 is seeing the way it used to be.

So what does this sale say about the coyote market? Dropping or not a particularly desirable collection?

It’s not that I am unhappy. I’m just saying that I haven’t ever had a time when those numbers weren’t accurate.
I started in ‘08 and ever since then it’s been fairly constant above this years average.

So what does this sale say about the coyote market? Dropping or not a particularly desirable collection? I think Toms and CC said it best there is a line in the sand on quality. Semis and commercials are going to take a ouch And there is going to be some yahoo s and whining depends on what you got.
