What is your favorite Red Fox lure ??
I'm 100% new to Fox sets. There are no Yotes in the area. Just Fox.
In fact, I just dug my very 1st 'dirt hole'. Threw a dead mouse down the hole... and just need something to lure them in..

They will respond to about any red fox gland lure. Don't use too much at once. Also can save and use glands off fox caught. Mouse and rabbits nests work well, bacon grease for bait. Location and eye appeal get you most the way there, gland lure is a finishing touch. It can be good to make some sets with bait, others with lure.

The hole and mouse should lure them in if you are where they are traveling. Fox are curious and will investigate an empty hole. There are many good lures though and I use Lenon lures.

I have had more luck with just a mouse down a hope for fox than anything else. I like to put a little dab of gland lure on the lip of the hole or at the base of the backing. You have to be right on their path though to be really effective with any lure or bait.

I've had good luck with "Fox Frenzy".

I’ve always had good results with June’s Fox Frenzy, Dobbins’ Tri Nitro and Mississippi Special Lure.

This years promotional lure- Cherry Red was also a big hit.

It could have also been luck though. Also, I didn’t use any bait this year, just lure and sometimes a little urine.

anything that can go a good distance. Especially with this weather. They're fur will probably be rubbed by the way.
